Turkoiz Clay serves as the visionary President of The Metallic Sunflower Foundation Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved communities through education, wellness, and creative expression. With a proven track record in fostering growth and development, Turkoiz spent three impactful years as the Employee Development Coordinator at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she designed innovative training programs that nurtured professional excellence and team resilience among healthcare heroes. Since 2020, she has channeled her entrepreneurial spirit into her thriving baking business, T-Lady’s Bakehouse, where she serves as CEO, blending artistry and community connection through handcrafted treats that celebrate joy and inclusivity. Driven by a deep commitment to uplifting others, Turkoiz brings her unique blend of empathy, creativity, and leadership to guide the Foundation’s mission forward, inspiring positive change one sunflower at a time.

Gina Crosson, a dynamic force in creative entrepreneurship, serves as Vice President of The Metallic Sunflower Foundation Inc., bringing her passion for artistic innovation to empower underserved communities through education, wellness, and creative expression. Originally hailing from the Queen City—Charlotte, North Carolina—she founded Scotia Studios in 2018 as a beacon of artistic resilience before making the bold leap to H-Town (Houston, Texas) in January 2023. As the studio’s dedicated Owner, Gina has navigated the exhilarating highs and humbling challenges of small business ownership, steadily growing her venture while fostering spaces for collaboration, self-expression, and cultural storytelling that uplift diverse voices. With her unwavering grit and creative vision, Gina infuses the Foundation’s initiatives with the same entrepreneurial spirit that has sustained Scotia Studios, inspiring budding artists and dreamers to bloom amid adversity and cultivate lasting impact in their communities.
Natalie Palos
Natalie Palos, a practicing herbalist and devoted wife, mom to two amazing fur babies, and auntie to many, serves as the meticulous Treasurer of The Metallic Sunflower Foundation Inc., where her sharp attention to detail safeguards the organization’s resources while fueling its mission to empower underserved communities through education, wellness, and creative expression. As the owner and creator of Herbalist Unicorn—an enchanting herbal apothecary she founded in the summer of 2023 after years of dedicated study, practice, and crafting—she curates nature-inspired elixirs and remedies that promote holistic healing and inner harmony. Embracing a lifelong journey of constant learning, growth, and evolution toward her true purpose, Natalie champions the infusion of good health, love, peace, and understanding into a world shadowed by doubt and fear, reminding us all with her favorite quote: “We’re on a floating rock.” Through her grounded wisdom and alchemical touch, she ensures the Foundation’s initiatives not only take root but flourish, nurturing resilient spirits one mindful blend at a time.
